New Life Pentecostal Church is located at La Croix in Laborie. The church came into existence in 1979 after a crusade was held in the village by British missionary workers (including O.V. Paris) and a team of persons from Vieux Fort. The Laborie church was originally housed close to the village, but moved to its current location when the space became too small to house the congregation.

As the church expanded, a number of ministries were implemented and functioned successfully under the leadership of various pastors.

Throughout its lifespan New Life Pentecostal has faced a few challenges. But the work of the Lord continues. The church has purchased property nearby for the erection of a new sanctuary. Construction has commenced on the new sanctuary, as seen in the photo above. Currently, Pastor Ernesto Browne gives leadership to the congregation in Laborie.
